The BEAR BAND has been playing music for Ceilidhs and Barn Dances over many
years during which time it has built up a strong and loyal following
particularly in
South Wales.
The Band has seen a few changes of personnel over the years but is still led
by the two founding members Huw Jones on Melodeon and John Howes on Bouzouki
and Guitar. They are now joined by Steve Passmore on
String Bass, Lyndon Whife on Drums and Nigel Haworth as their Caller, to
complete the present line up

On the night, the Caller will explain all the steps and guide even the most
inexperienced through
the dances.
All we ask is that you bring bags of energy with you to create a
memorable event that all ages will enjoy,
and should your legs begin to
fail, we can sing songs or play music until you recover!
